15/02/2025 Informal email
Yamauba, who lives in the remote mountains of northeastern Japan, initially appears as a seemingly frail (FRÁGIL) old woman, but with the ability to abruptly transform into a nightmarish figure with horns (CUERNOS) , snake-like hair, and a second mouth on top of her head, which she uses to devour her prey. Some legends even claim that she can deflect bullets (DESVIAR LAS BALAS) and cast darkness (ARROJAR OSCURIDAD). But what makes her story truly disturbing is the myth’s possible origin.
Yamauba myth may have its roots in the historical practice of sacrificing elderly villagers (ALDEANOS) during famine (HAMBRUNA). «In places like rural Tohoku, where harvest failures in the early modern era were common, stories of angry spirits could be a response to elderly women being led (CONDUCIDAS) into forests to die,» is said by National Geographic.
Imaginary task. You have received this email from your English friend Yamauba.
I’m really looking forward to visiting you tomorrow. Since we’re older now, I wonder if we could go out for coffee. How are your fangs? Oh, by the way… Do you have any green paint? Poisonous kisses.
My homework 15/05/2025 Email.
First version.
Hey witch, how are you? It´s nice to see your green figure again!
I’m fine, just a little busy with that damn First Certificate of English. Today, I have to write an informal email, and tomorrow an essay, but I suposse I will be able to have a coffee. I´m looking forward to see you, dear Yamauba! My fangs are with caries, as you can see here. I have a lot of green paint with a little white and very saturated. Poisonous kisses for you.

Second (and definitive, final, last) version
Hello witch, how are you? How nice to see your green figure again! You look extraordinarily beautiful and greener than ever. I’m fine, just a little absorbed in that damn First Certificate of English. I wish I’d bitten it and turned it to blood.
I have to write an informal email today and an essay tomorrow, but I guess we can have a coffee…

Poisonous kisses for you.
